Real Projectives® seeks a dynamic Communications Specialist to develop and deliver effective company-wide communications and documentation, internally and externally.  Creating and managing our digital presence and driving all messaging content will add to the creative goals of this opportunity.
 

Experience You Will Gain

As a Communications Specialist, you will work independently and collaboratively with executives, managers, committees, and employees across all aspects of good communications to serve internal management, human resources, and general needs as well as external customer service, marketing, business development, and sales efforts.. 

More specifically, you will demonstrate communications savvy to:  

• Promote the Real Projectives brand to reinforce a high-caliber reputation and attract quality clients, prospects, and employees.
• Enhance our company culture with strong internal communications practices and record keeping systems to unify teams and retain great employees.
• Support executives with professional coordination and communication expertise.

Qualifications We Desire

The Communications Specialist will be an accomplished generalist who sees the big picture to strategically select appropriate communication modes while performing as a detailed craftsperson who produces effective narrative and graphic communique.

Qualified candidates shall have:

• Earned an Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma with equivalent experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing or similar strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in general communications or marketing is required.
• Five (5) or more years of experience working in a professional services firm is preferred.
• Fluent mastery in spoken and written English language, especially for business situations.
• Knowledge and skills to create highly effective and impactful multimedia (text, audio, graphic, video, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency with computers and business software including Microsoft Windows, Office365, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, as well as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, plus various Internet browsers and social media platforms, including LinkedIn.

Work Location

The Communications Specialist will be based in our Laurel, Maryland office with some level of flexibility for remote work. Local and national travel of approximately 10-15% is expected.
